Astrophotography Talk

My talk covered my astrophotography journey since I retired and covered space time distances and scale, stellar life cycle and what can we see in the night sky.

I also discussed my Telescope and camera types, set up and imaging methods (stacking and lucky imaging).

I followed this up by describing broadband, narrowband, planetary and solar imaging. I also covered pre and post processing to describe RGB, HOO and SHO palettes. Throughout the talk images were shown to demonstrate the above techniques and a small selection of which can be seen below.
